The Hamilton High School athletic department recently announced inductees for the Hamilton City Schools Athletic Hall of Fame.

The banquet is Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton. The reception is at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at Hamilton High School.

The inductees include Matthew Blauvelt (Class of 1986, soccer), Dan Bowling (1969-Garfield, baseball coach), Pat Burtis (1976-Taft, basketball), Tracy Collett-Trunck (1993, girls’ tennis), Malcolm Dixon (1972-Taft, football and basketball), Mark Hopkins (1960-Taft, football, basketball and baseball), Ron McWhorter (1963-Garfield, basketball), Francis Parrish (1956, swimming coach), Chad Pennington (1997, baseball), Rick Prather (1972-Garfield, football and basketball), John Ross (athletic trainer, athletic director), Larry W. Wood (athletic director).
